RingCentral App Connect – Installation & Configuration Guide
Thank you for starting your 21-day free trial of the RingCentral App Connect Chrome Extension for use with Freshdesk
To get started, simply follow the steps below. Once completed, you’ll be ready to enjoy the full integration experience.
Step 1: Install the Chrome Extension
- Open Google Chrome.
- Go to the Chrome Web Store and install the extension:

Step 2: Configure the Extension
- Go to
chrome://extensions - Find RingCentral App Connect and click Details
- Click Extension options
- Click Clear Platform Info
- Set the CRM Manifest URL to:
https://fd-rc-appconnect.loyally.nl/crmManifest?platformName=freshdesk - Click Save
✅ You should see “Options saved”.
Step 3: Launch & Log In
- Open your Freshdesk helpdesk in a new tab (e.g. https://yourcompany.freshdesk.com).
- Click the RC App icon in the bottom-right corner.
- In the RC App, click Connect and log in to Freshdesk (see the login video if needed).
⚠️ If login doesn’t work:
Log out of RingCentral App Connect and try again from the beginning.

Step 4: Submit Your Freshdesk Details
Please provide your Company Name and your Freshdesk Subdomain
(the part before .freshdesk.com, e.g. for acme.freshdesk.com the subdomain is acme).
